The Bentwater Civic Association (BCA) is a 501(c)4 volunteer community service organization committed to enhancing the quality of life in Bentwater. BCA works with the Bentwater Property Owners Association, Country Club and other community organizations to make Bentwater better. Membership is open to all property owners; dues are $20 billed annually. To name a few, these dues fund BCA events that positively impact on our families such as improvements to our parks, the Annual Easter Hunt; provide awareness campaigns i.e. Prescription Drug Take-back, new resident welcome bags; and protect our environment by providing ways to recycle hazardous chemicals, electronics and shred sensitive documents. The Bentwater Civic Association (BCA) By-Laws call for nine (9) directors to be elected by the members for a three (3) year term. Each Director must be a BCA member in good standing and have lived in Bentwater for at least 2 years. Three Directors are elected each year at the Bentwater Civic Association annual Meeting in November. There are four officer positions elected by the Directors: President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Nominations to fill new positions are taken in fall.
